Definition: Inflammation or infection of the transparent membrane that lines your eyelids and covers the white part of your eyeball. Pink eye can be allergic, viral, or bacterial.
Treatment: An antibiotic eye drop may be required depending on the type of pink eye you have.
Symptoms: Pink or reddish eyes. Pain, blurred vision, or light sensitivity. Itchiness or gritty feeling in eye(s). Burning sensation in eye(s). Discharge from eye(s) that forms a crust during the night.
